Sheraton Pretoria Hotel

On arrival we were told that our names were not on the arrival.We were so inconvenienced and embarrassed.We were made to take rooms at a higher cost.It took querel to sort things out on the day we checked out.

I liked the room size, mini bar, the view from my room.

Joseph at the front desk was absolutely superb

the fact that they do not provide free parking. They bill you after you have used the parking. need better towels A certain front desk manageress was very rude to my wife and i.

Cleanliness of rooms, bathroom, lobby,

- Check in time: 2pm is clearly unfriendly, R400 for early check in - surely? - Food & beverages not value for money, way too expensive. - Bathroom supplies - soap, vanity packs not adequate but you get some when you request - Billing : Prices quoted in room service menu different from bill - Most international Hotels offer free Internet. Your 45 minutes free Internet is inadequate

This is not 5 star quality, I stay a lot in 5 star hotels, very small but expensive buffet, breakfast 3 star quality. I was booked into an occupied room, very,very noisy, poorly trained staff. not up to standard

It has a very relaxed feeling which is what we needed after our long drive.Your staff were so helpful and kind to us and made us feel very welcomed the moment we arrived at the front door...All your staff are a real credit to the hotel and we will be staying with you next time we are in town.

It took the staff more than 40 minutes to get a taxi for us, this is unexceptable !!!

Physical building, interior and classic room excellent.

Front staff not attentive enough as had to ask to be served and had to carry our own bags up to the room. Magnolia restaurant chef left a item off of our dinner plate and did not bother to come out to us when we took it up with waitress and we were the only two people at that time in the restaurant . Dinner was spoilt!

The room was beautiful and entising and very clean

The bathrooms are clean and decorated world classy

We had a lovely room on the 5th floor with great view, very beautiful hotel, safe underground parking, right opposite the Union buildings, pool looked nice-was too cold to swim. restaurant and room service were good. The service matched the reputation of this hotel chain.

The comfort of the room.

1). Extremely unhappy with room service. Bad attitude of staff, unhelpful, food brought up cold. Very few vegetarian options and reluctance of staff to make substitutions to cater for vegetarian diet. 2). Poor service received at Tiffins lounge/bar - long wait before attended to by waiter also long wait to attend to bill. 3). Overall very rude and unhelpful staff at restaurants. 4). Very poor quality service received at the beauty spa. Poor value for money. Poor quality hair products and professionalism from staff (staff eating and preparing snacks for themselves while I was having my hair done). Massage was very bad and not what one expects at a 5 star hotel. 5). Overall very poor quality service at the hotel (especially spa and restaurant/room service) - I am amazed that the Sheraton is able to maintain five star ratings with such poor service!

Nice views to the Union Buildings.

The rooms facing the Union Buildings are very noisy because of the busy traffic on the street.

The staff were great, really friendly and helpful; fitness facilities were excellent, restaurant was good

the central air conditional was not working and also my room got duplicated to another guest, the coffee machine was empty, we called 5times for us to get a room assistance
